Direktorat Jenderal Kekayaan Intelektual sedang berupaya keras agar Indonesia bisa keluar dari PWL. Apa itu PWL? PWL adalah singkatan dari Priority Watch List. Gampangnya, PWL adalah suatu daftar yang isinya negara-negara dengan kasus pelanggaran kekayaan intelektual yang berat dan serius. PWL memiliki saudara ipar berinisial WL. Nah kalau yang ini singkatan dari Watch List. E-court for commercial matters and intellectual property

Indonesia has introduced new rules to make it easier for people to protect their intellectual property. The Commercial Court of the District Court of Central Jakarta has issued a Decree No. W10-U1/05/KP.00.3/I/2023, which says that people must now register online with the court to enforce their intellectual property rights. This new system, called e-court, will take effect on January 24, 2023, and covers disputes related to commercial matters and intellectual property. With e-court, people can register their cases online, make payments electronically, receive electronic summons, and carry out legal proceedings through the internet. However, people can still go to court in person if they prefer.
